For this sake, CV Market Latvia is organizing „We are against smoking at work” campaign. By adding a slogan at www.cvmarket.lv homepage in „We are against smoking at work” section, employees and job seekers confirm how unpleasant smoking is to them and others. Slogan can be serious, humorous or even threatening – all in all, others, who will vote for the best slogans, should like it. Every participant may enter an unlimited number of slogans. Slogans are evaluated online by CV Market attendants. Evaluations are gained by getting the average score. If a job seeker has entered a slogan and registered active CV at CV Market homepage, he scores 1 point for every registered CV. No serious knowledge of math is needed to understand that exactly those points may be the most essential ones when choosing the winner of the grand prix – laptop. Other 5 participants will get gift certificates, 10 LVL worth each. CV Market director, Vladimirs KORICKIS is thrilled about participants’ activity as already during the first day of campaign, more than 600 slogans were entered. „Quitting smoking allows larger perspectives at work as many employers are followers of healthy lifestyle and it may happen that they employ only non-smokers”, says V.Korickis.
